TCU uses its leadership position to connect learners and experts with common goals. These specialized centers and institutes demonstrate the university’s commitment to sharing knowledge and resources with our community and the world, supporting the Horned Frog family as they serve the greater good.

The Center for Digital Expression (CDEx) supports digital composing, research and teaching while exploring the intersection between emerging technologies. Digital proficiency training services are offered for TCU students, faculty and staff.

Through creative research and ongoing educational outreach, the Andrews Institute promotes innovative teaching techniques in mathematics and science while serving the community.

Working with TCU’s two laboratory schools for children with learning differences (Starpoint and KinderFrogs), ANSERS promotes innovation and change in special education through exemplary teaching, research and community outreach.

The CLC provides resources for all language learners and faculty in the Departments of Modern Language Studies and Spanish and Hispanic Studies, including tutoring, media studio space, computers, electronic equipment, and foreign language media and teaching tools.

This center gives students and professionals hands-on learning and the ability to mock up design vignettes to evaluate the impact of lighting. Experiencing various qualities of light is central to the interior design program and the associated architectural lighting design minor.

By connecting education to the merchandising industry, this center forges meaningful industry partnerships that enhance the education and development of TCU merchandising students and faculty.

Since 2007, the center has provided opportunities and programming for collaborative learning and research between faculty, students and community partners for matters related to oncology nursing. TCU has the nation’s only nursing program with a designated oncology emphasis track.

Recognizing education as a civil and human right, CPECE addresses issues that impact students, educators, schools and communities. The center is involved in various initiatives, strengthening public education by building partnerships and promoting research.

Located in one of the fastest-growing metro areas in the nation, the center brings together students and industry leaders to connect, evaluate and innovate solutions that will transform the future of real estate. Through a multidisciplinary approach, the center focuses on ethics, research and analytics, real-world business practices, industry trends, mentorship and outreach.

This center examines all aspects of supply chain through a dynamic, integrated end-to-end lens, fostering innovation and insights through cutting-edge research and curriculum. The center partners with business leaders and experts from across industries to bring real-world opportunities and challenges into the classroom, through case studies, facility tours, competitions, mentorship and networking opportunities, career exploration and more.

Through special events and publishing, this academic resource unit is dedicated to preserving, sharing and commemorating the unique heritage of ¹ú²úÂ鶹AV for educators and the community at large.

This center promotes research and interdisciplinary education on critical urban and metropolitan issues, partnering with organizations in Fort Worth and the greater North ¹ú²úÂ鶹AV region.

The place where ideas come to life. Merging entrepreneurial spirit with design thinking, the TCU IdeaFactory provides resources, funding and advice for students who are looking to impact their communities and enact social change. 

A national research center for evaluating and improving treatment strategies to target reductions in drug abuse, related mental health and social issues, and public health risks — especially HIV/AIDS and infections among at-risk populations.

This collaboration between departments, institutions, government and businesses creates a unique educational experience where research, teaching and partnerships result in integrated solutions to local and global environmental issues.

The Institute of Ranch Management works with its students, faculty and alumni to forge educational partnerships with private industry, institutions, and governments all over the world, addressing the management of agricultural resources.

Named for its beloved late founder, the institute’s mission is research, education, training and outreach to improve the lives of children who have experienced abuse, neglect and/or trauma.

This campus center engages with instructional staff, departments/units, and administration to facilitate innovative learning methodologies and technologies that promote engagement and improve learning.

Latin American Music Festival

The center focuses on preserving and sharing the uniqueness of Latino/Latina classical music and is home to the renowned annual Latin American Music Festival, founded 20 years ago by Germán Gutiérrez, professor of orchestral studies.

Launched in 2012, this ongoing research and training program has made promising discoveries related to the power of play for elementary school children, bridging the gap between academics and students’ social, physical and emotional health.

The LKCM Center provides resources, conferences and programs to enhance the academics and careers of TCU finance students, faculty and industry professionals.

Since 1975, this resource center has provided clinical services to north Texans with speech, language, hearing or swallowing problems. Referrals to the clinic may be made by physicians, speech-language pathologists, audiologists, psychologists, educators, health care professionals or by individuals.

TCU houses one of the largest university-based meteorite collections in the world. The collection is used for both academic research and public outreach, with samples on display in an interactive gallery open to the public.

Open to companies and individuals, this center offers ongoing general and customized programs to help individuals and business organizations develop and reach their fullest leadership potential.

This popular institute fosters cross-campus innovative thinking to ignite the entrepreneurial spark in students of every major. Students receive the education, opportunities and resources to nurture their ideas through competitions, accelerator programs, scholarships, internships and more.

Neeley business students receive valuable tools, one-on-one coaching and feedback to confidently hone their personal brand for success. Resources include self-awareness assessment, personal blueprint, business writing, résumé assistance and polishing interview skills.

For more than 100 years, this academic track has prepared students for post-graduate study in dentistry, medicine, veterinary medicine and optometry, as well as physician assistant and pharmacy programs. Its acceptance rate to medical schools averages 80 percent — twice the national average.

The Ralph Lowe Energy Institute connects students and seasoned professionals to discover, discuss and innovate sustainable solutions that can power our nation and our world for generations to come. From oil and gas to solar and nuclear energy, the institute cultivates industry relationships, conducts research and develops human capital that will guide us through the next energy transition.

The Sales Center provides a hands-on, consultative approach, which mirrors real-world sales problems, competitions, quotas, and customer prospecting, giving students the skill sets, knowledge and edge they need to thrive in a career in sales.

Highly ranked TCU business faculty lead non-degree courses for professionals and business organizations to hone their skills, develop fresh thinking and discover new approaches to reach their fullest leadership potential.

TRIO is an initiative of The Higher Education Act of 1964. TCU hosts two federally funded TRIO programs supporting college students from disadvantaged backgrounds: Student Support Services and the Ronald E. McNair Post-baccalaureate Achievement Program.
